roast.
Each morning breakfast was served at the Recreation Centre. This proved to the 'THE gathering place' where welcoming folks back home was as enjoyable as the visit ing that took place. Here IS where daily registration took place, raffle tickets were sold on the Homecoming Quilt and souvemrs could be purchased. Many folks could be

jamboree, street dance and the climax of the day was the fireworks display.
Sunday, July 9, was designated as 'Sports were golf tournaments, Slow Pitch Tournament,
Volleyball. The evening featured the Shevchenko Ukrainian Dance Concert.

Monday, July 10, was Pioneer Day. A delightful after noon was held at Parkland Home at the Birthday Tea.
Tuesday, July I I, was labeled Country Fair Day. The Mini-Fair sponsored by the Keith Johnston family was enjoyed. There were also many school reunions, horseshoe tournaments and the evening featured the Lions Casino Night.
Wednesday, July 12, was Youth Day, which every one young-at-heart enjoyed. There was a Soap Box Derby, Creative Bubbling Show, Face Painting and a Teen Dance.
Thursday, July 13, Veteran's Day, consisted of the Legion Colour Party Parade and the arrival of the 'Cornell' Aircraft from Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum
