Mr. Lundman manages a 1,000 acre farm on the shores of Otter Lake, which includes a herd of Hereford cattle as well as a registered Simmental cow herd for breeding purposes. In addition, Mr. Lundman operates a sawmill, producing finished lumber.

This year's winner of the Mr. Manitoba Farmer award has taken a keen interest in improving the com­ munications link between agriculture and urban people. He is a member of the Westman tourist and Recreation Association and has forty improved lakefront lots where urbanites can enjoy a farm vacation and learn more about a farm operation. Mr. Lundman is presently working with the Rolling River School division in promoting general agriculture as a part of the school's curriculum.

Mr. Lundman is Reeve of the Municipality of Clan­ william, chairman of parks and fair board, Erickson, and a past-director of Westman Regional Association. His agricultural interest lies in Canadian Simmental Breeder Association, Hereford Breeder's Association, R.O.P. Beef Cattle and Manitoba Beef Growers Association. He is a member of Erickson Chamber of Commerce, PEP Selection Committee, Senior Citizen's Home, and the Erickson Lutheran Church. Mr. Lund­ man has always had a great interest in young people, being a 4-H leader for the past 27 years. Mrs. Lundman is also active in various community activities.
