About the mid 20''s Brookdale had a bus service to Brandon. Only it wasn''t operated in a bus but a large car owned by Walter Christensen of Brookdale. It is believed this service was offered two or three times a week for about 4-5 years. The return trip to Brandon included stops at Ingelow and Douglas. Later, Mr. Christensen moved to Neepawa and then the daily return trip included stops at Hallboro, Oberon, Brookdale, Ingelow and Douglas.

Mr. Christensen was then hired by a bus company to drive the Neepawa, Minnedosa, Brandon route. He continued to drive this route until he retired.

In the early 30''s Norman Hunter and Lawrence Floyd operated a Saturday night taxi service to and from Neepawa. The cost was 25~ a head.
