Charlie and Mary Brolund came to the Crestview district in about 1939.

They came from Redvers, Saskatchewan. Mary and Charlie are sitting on the tractor with their first son Billy. They had four sons. The three Thomson sisters are in the trailor, we are at the Crestview School. They moved to Swan Valley District for 12 years then north of Benito. Both have passed away.
