Denis and Connie Beaudry

Denis Joseph Beaudry was born on August 19, 1956 at Rose Valley, Saskatchewan. Denis is the son of Charlie and Madeline Beaudry. Three years after Denis’ birth his parents Charlie & Madeline Beaudry moved to Bellsite, MB. Here Denis spent his youth amidst his brother and sister and many cousins and friends. Denis worked on the farm helping his dad, and in his late teens bought farm land of his own. Denis kept busy working on the farm in the spring, summer and fall and worked out away from home during the winters.

In 1979 Denis married his wife Connie Johnson who grew up in Birch River. Connie was born on July 2,1962 in Thompson, MB. Connie is the daughter of Kon & Clara Johnson. Connie lived most of her life in Birch River with her five sisters and her parents. Growing up, Connie was quite interested in sports and baking, when everybody else was outdoors doing chores, Connie could be found indoors baking a batch of bread or making dark cakes. After all outdoor chores were done and the bread was finished, you could always find her going for walks, playing ball or just reading in the sun.

Denis and Connie were married, bought a home in 1979 and moved it to SE 7-42-25 W in Bellsite, MB where they still reside. We started our life together as farmers, now we farm and are co-owners of a logging operation. Denis and Connie have four children, all them are boys growing into men. The names of our boys oldest to youngest are Neil Luc born November 4, 1978, Nicholas Benjamin (Nick) born July 28, 1981, Micheal Denis born March 1, 1985, and Matthew John born October 22, 1988. Our children and our businesses kept us very busy. We live in a small town with an active community centre. We can be found at the neighbors visiting, helping in the community or once in a while playing ball at our park. We do love to visit and have company, so if you are driving by and see us working, please stop by for a visit, we probably need the break.
