Mr. Miller attended Manitoba Law School, and graduated with honors in the Spring of 1954. (That was also the year that he was elected Manitoba President of Young Conservatives.) He was called to the Bar in June, 1955, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1965. Since 1954 he has practiced law with the firm of Miller, Miller & Miller.

Anglican Church, Rotary International, Manitoba Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association (of which he is an executive member), and the B.P.O, Elks of Canada, has been conducive to his popularity here and across the country, He is married and has two children, a boy and a girl.

Israel Hyner Greenberg, O.C. has been a resident of Portage la Prairie all of his life; received his education in our local schools and went on to the University of Manitoba and the Manitoba Law School, where he graclua ted with an LL.B. degree in 1940. He is the proud possessor of several medals: General Proficiency, Governor General's medal and the Isbister Scholarship LH the Portage Collegiate,

and the Isbister Scholarship in Law School.

Before graduating in Law, Mr.

Green berg was a sports wri tel' for the Daily Graphic and for the Winnipeg Free Press.

He has been very active in many local organizations and is Past Pres. of the Boy Scou t As­ sociation, St. John Ambulance and the Portage Hebrew Associ­ ation; has been Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge, and was Chair­ man of the first Recreation Com­

In sports, he has always been keenly interested, and active, in tennis, golf, curling and Bridge. He is a member of the Blue Bomber Football Club, past President of the local Curling Club,
