Mavis (Johnson) Hyde, daughter of Carl (A. V) and Bertha (Sjoberg) Johnson, completed her nurses' training at St. Boniface Hospital in 1958. She worked in Steinbach and then at Children's Hospital in the O.R.

N 1. Hyde, Frank and Mavis Hyde, Bertha and Carl Johnson

June 30, 1962, Mavis married Frank Hyde of Lowe Farm, MB. Frank was employed by the City of Winnipeg (Assessment Division). They have two sons.

Colin was born June 25,1967. Colin enjoys keeping fit and weight lifting. He is attending the U. ofM., taking Computer Science.

Frank and Mavis Hyde, Cam and Donna Hyde, Grace and Mike Riviere

Cameron was born August 18, 1969. He has been employed by Neon Products since 1987. Cam married Donna Kim Riviere on June 4, 1988. Cam has done several home renovation projects and many of his own car repairs. Donna is the fourth daughter of Mike and Grace Riviere of Winnipeg. She was born September 21, 1968. Donna worked as a Graphic Artist for two years at Intercollegiate Press, and has recently completed an Education Assistant's Course. Cam and Donna have two children: Christine Sharla, born December 8, 1988, and Kerry Cameron, born July 12, 1990.

Mavis returned to part-time O.R. work at Health Science Centre in 1983, after fourteen years at home. She retired in 1996, while Frank retired in 1989, after 35 years with the City. Frank enjoys building and flying airplane models (radio controlled), as well as doing some volun­ teer work.
