David and Leona Smith

Dave retired from Parks Canada, Riding Mountain National Park, in 1990. This allows him to devote some of his free time towards the Erickson Handivan, Legion and numerous hobbies. He continues his involvement in the farm with his nephew.

After spending many enjoyable weekends traveling with their trailer, in 1988 Dave and Leona decided to build a cottage at Otter Lake. They have had the opportunity to visit various destinations from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland and north to Churchill. Due to spending many winters in Texas and Arizona, Dave and Leona have expanded their circle of friends and are enjoying their golden years.
