Tommy Wilmot and Heather Erven.

Jack bought a farm originally homesteaded by Matt.

Gudbrandson close to No. 10 Highway, and built a new home so Thomas could get to school easier.

Tom took his education at Erickson Elementary and Collegiate. He now resides with his parents on the home farm.

WILMOT, WALTER AND LILY

Walter Polden, youngest son of Thomas and Fanny Wilmot and Lily Kathleen, only daughter of Otto and Annie Halvarson were married July 15, 1946, at All Saints Anglican Church in the Rural Municipality of Minto. From this marriage there are four children; Ronald, Joyce, Nancy and Wallis.

Walter and Lily have been engaged in grain farming since their marriage, buying sections 20-16-ISW and S. 1/2 27-16-18W in 1950, and they built a home on S.E. 1/4 20-16-18W where they still reside. They have taken an active part in community affairs both in the Crocus district and Erickson. Walter acted as Chairman for the Crocus Hill S.D. until it consolidated with Erickson. Both are active members of the Royal Canadian Legion and Auxiliary, being past presidents of same. Walter owns and flies his own airplane a 170B having received his wings from the Dauphin Flying Club, 33 years after his discharge as a bomber pilot with the R.C.A.F. during World War II. He is a Charter member of the Erickson Flying Club. Lil enjoys flying with Walter and her association with the Erickson Flying Club. Both are members of St. Mark's Anglican Church at Minnedosa. The family have always enjoyed the out-of-doors, gardening and working on their farm grounds.

Walter and Lily's four children;

Ronald Montgomery, only son of Lil and Walter, born March 1st, 1947. He received his education in Crocus Hill, Erickson, and St. Joseph's College, Yorkton, Saskatchewan, a confirmed member of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Minnedosa. He met Stephanie Hyr­ nkiw, daughter of John and Anna Hyrnkiw, Onanole. They were married November 23, 1968. Ronald and Stella lived in Flin Flon for two years after their marriage. Ron was employed by Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. During the strike in Flin Flon they moved back to the Minnedosa area. He has since been employed in the capacity of power engineering in Minnedosa, Rivers, Brandon and at this point of time in Operations Superintendent for Mohawk Oil Co. Ethanol Plant, Minnedosa, holding a second class power engineering certificate. Ron took his pilot's training from the Brandon Flying Club, receiving his wings in 1976. Both Stella and Ronald are members of the Erickson Flying Club. They built a home on portion of S.E. 20-16-18W where they and their two children reside. Tannis Ann,
